York Simcoe Nature Club is proud to sponsor a bursary to send a local student to Ontario Nature's Youth Summit for Mother Earth.
The Youth Summit is an annual event held in September, bringing together young nature lovers from across the province for a weekend of education and fun with like-minded friends.

2026 Youth SummitIn 2026 our club is raising funds to help sponsor a local student grades 9 through 12 (14–20 years old), to attend this weekend Summit held in September at the Tawingo Outdoor Centre in Huntsville.
We are reaching out to the student population in York Region (Georgina, East Gwillimbury, Newmarket, King, Aurora, Richmond Hill, Whitchurch-Stouffville, and Markham) and southern Simcoe County (Bradford West Gwillimbury, west to Tottenham and north to Innisfil) to apply.
